Overview
An AppointmentCore Admin creates a User Account for each team member. Basic information, such as the user's name and email address, will have already been entered. Still, the team member the User Account is assigned to can make further changes and configurations following initial setup.
This article will walk you through the basics of configuring your AppointmentCore User Account. Here you can input your contact information, upload a photo, and set your default time zone. You can also choose a default view type for all your Booking Links.
Updating your User Profile
Let’s begin by customizing your User Profile.
Here’s how:
Navigate to the left panel of your My Dashboard screen and select Settings. |
|
Under My User Settings on the left menu, make sure you have My Profile selected. From here, you can update and make changes to the following fields:
|
|
Under Carbon Copy(CC) on all my scheduling emails, you can add email addresses you’d like to receive a confirmation email each time an appointment is scheduled with your User Account. Click the link under Profile Picture to upload an avatar for your User Account. Note: AppointmentCore will resize your uploaded photo to the optimal size (64x64px). |
|
In the Additional Configuration section under Default Timezone, enter the timezone in which all new appointments will be made. Under Time Slot Display, you can choose how your free time slots appear to your contacts. You can see a preview of each of these options while creating an appointment. Under Calendar Start Time, select the time you’d like your calendar to start. Note: By default, we display the calendar for users starting at 7 am. We do this so that the main part of the workday appears in the area they’re most likely to see, for the slots they’re most likely to select. Users can also scroll up to see earlier times if they have earlier appointments. 8 am will be the last option available because the calendar will show the rest of the day with this selected. |
|
Under Notifications, check the box for Receive notifications on service disconnection if you want to be notified about system outages. Check the box for Display attendee name first in calendar event titles if you prefer to see the customer’s name first, followed by the event title on your calendar. When you're finished, make sure to click Save & Publish in the bottom right-hand corner of the My Profile page. |
Connecting Integrations
The Integrations enabled on your User account are determined by your Admin. Once allowed at the Admin level, you will have the option to connect these applications to your AppointmentCore User account.
Here’s how to see what Integrations your Admin has enabled for you:
Navigate to the left panel of your My Dashboard screen and select Settings. Under My User Settings on the left menu, select My Integrations. |
Your Admin can choose to enable all available AppointmentCore Integrations based on your company's needs, processes, and workflows. Reach out to your Admin if an Integration that should be enabled for you is not on your My Integrations list.
Next steps:
- Connect any Admin-enabled Integration to your AppointmentCore User Account.
- Choose which calendars affect your availability as well as where to post appointments by configuring your Calendar Settings.
