Overview
In this first stage of the Booking Link Creation, you will be entering general information about the type of appointment you want to schedule.
You have two options on how to go about this:
Option 1: Create a Booking Link from scratch
Step 1: Setting up your Appointment Title and Description
To create a new Booking Link, select Pages & Links from the left panel of your My Dashboard screen, then click Create New in the upper-right corner of the page. From the Add Scheduling Page under the Basic setup stage, type in the Appointment Title in the given field. The Appointment Title is what will be displayed as the event title in your calendars. |
|
DISCRETIONARY: You can choose to specify a different event title that your customer or attendees will see on the confirmation page, email notifications, and calendar events after they book an appointment with you. Check the box for Show different title when someone schedules, and type in your preferred Customer-facing Appointment Title in the given field. |
|
Enter a description for your Appointment or Booking Link in the given field. When your customers or prospects arrange an appointment with you, the description will show in their confirmation emails and on the Booking Link page. It will also be included in the calendar event details. |
Step 2: Setting up your Appointment Location
You have four options to choose from when setting up a venue for your appointment.
Online meeting
Under Where this meeting takes place, you’ll find that Online meeting is selected by default. Click the arrow next to the second box to open the dropdown list. From the list, choose the online platform where you want your virtual meeting to take place. |
|
DISCRETIONARY: If you don’t want AppointmentCore to automatically generate online meetings when someone schedules with you, you can uncheck the box for Generate online meeting when someone schedules. |
Phone
Under Where this meeting takes place, you’ll find that Online meeting is selected by default. Click the arrow next to the first box to open the dropdown list, and select Phone. You can choose whether to provide a phone number to call or to request a phone number when someone schedules. |
In person / Physical address
Under Where this meeting takes place, you’ll find that Online meeting is selected by default. Click the arrow next to the first box to open the dropdown list, and select In person / Physical address. Specify the meeting address for the person who will be scheduling with you. You can also include any special instructions in the Misc Instructions box if you need to. |
Other
Under Where this meeting takes place, you’ll find that Online meeting is selected by default. Click the arrow next to the first box to open the dropdown list, and select Other. Check the box for Add additional instructions and enter specific meeting instructions in the given field for the person who will be scheduling with you. You may include any particular instructions, such as what to bring or how to best prepare for the appointment. |
Step 3: Assigning Attendees
There are three options for allocating team members who will be attending the meeting.
Just me
Under Who from your team will attend?, click the radio button for Just me. By selecting this option, you will be the only one who will be attending to clients who schedule appointments using your booking link. |
Allow guests to choose a user (Premium feature)
By selecting this option, anyone scheduling an appointment through your booking link will be
able to choose who they want to meet with from a list of available Users.
Other team members
Under Who from your team will attend?, click the radio button for Other team member(s). Choosing this option will allow multiple team members to attend to guests who will be scheduling an appointment using your booking link. |
|
By default, this option has only one required User, which is the booking link creator. If the creator of the booking link should not be included, you will need to remove the User by clicking the ‘x’ next to User’s name below. |
To add another User to the booking link:
Click inside the box that says Add User. Select the User you would like to add from the dropdown list that appears. Click the dropdown arrow next to Select scenario. From here, there are three options that you can choose from.
|
Option 2: Copy settings from another Booking Link
To create a new Booking Link, select Pages & Links from the left panel of your My Dashboard screen, then click Create New in the upper-right corner of the page. From the Add Scheduling Page under the Basic setup stage, click + Copy settings from other booking link. Select the booking link whose settings you wish to replicate from the expanded list of Past Events. The remainder of the form will auto-populate with the settings of the booking link that you’ve selected. From here, you can make any edits that you deem necessary. |
Next steps:
- Proceed to the second stage of the Booking Link Creation process and set up your availability.
