How to Cancel an Appointment Using the Cancel and Reschedule Link in Your Confirmation Email

When canceling appointments, you’d want to make sure that these appointments are not just removed from AppointmentCore but also from Infusionsoft or any other calendars or software that you might have connected to AppointmentCore.

Deleting all event records from your calendars will make those time slots available for scheduling. Doing so also prevents AppointmentCore from mistaking canceled appointments for active ones and triggering any scheduled automation, such as reminders.

One of the recommended methods for appropriately canceling appointments is via a link in the appointment confirmation email.

Here’s how:

Open the confirmation email delivered to the email address authorized to receive appointment notifications. Click the link in the email to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You will then be directed to the Manage Bookings page.
Click the Cancel button on the Manage Bookings page. Click the Yes - Cancel it button to confirm the cancelation.  You’ll see an on-screen message saying that the appointment has been canceled.
